Dr. Ghattas was raised in a home surrounded by dentists – a prosthodontist father, a periodontist mother, and a pedodontics sister, all of which served to pique her interest in dentistry and helped to shape her desire to pursue a life in this field of practice. Dr. Ghattas graduated from The Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery at Misr International University in Cairo, Egypt. Dr. Ghattas’ commitment to excellence in dentistry drove her to move to the United States after being an owner and general dentist in private practice in Egypt.
Upon moving to the U.S., Dr. Ghattas completed her post-doctoral studies at Columbia University’s School of Dental Medicine in New York City and a one-year residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital. She obtained extensive restorative and surgical training during this time, including full mouth rehabilitation and implant therapy. Dr. Ghattas is a professional dedicated to excellence in prosthodontics – from preventative care to restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry and is Invisalign certified.
Dr. Ghattas is a member of The American Dental Association, The New York State Dental Association, The New York City Dental Association, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, The German Society of Oral Implantology, and The Egyptian Dental Association.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Ghattas enjoys traveling to different locations and exploring exotic cultures and cuisines with her husband and two beautiful daughters. She speaks English and is fluent in Arabic.
